Gourmet Tour Taste of Vrsar

Gourmet tour Taste of Vrsar will give you the opportunity to get to know Vrsar and Istria through gastronomic heritage. Moreover, with this tour we intended to encourage networking of local producers and additionaly promote indigenous products.

This is unique opportunity for you to taste local delicacies. Firstly, try out cured meat products from award-winning Istrian producers. Secondly, learn about the properties of organically produced extra virgin olive oil. Thirdly, try “Casanova’s jars”  prepared according to records recorded by Casanova in his memoirs during his stay in Vrsar. Lastly, refresh yourself with an Istrian cocktail or non-alcoholic juice of domestic production.

Futhermore, this experience is complemented by the accompaniment of a local guide, a lover of Istrian gastronomy, who will introduce you to the history of the place through the culinary tradition.

Additional informations

Tastes of Vrsar tour is held in English. The group is 15 participants at maximum. An approximate duration of of the tour is two hours. Reservation is required. The price of the tour with a local guide and four tastings is 30€ per person. You can reserve your spot by phone or email to Locus Adventures.

Tours for private groups in different languages are also possible by an appointment.
